IARU conferences: "Cultures of Health and Aging" and "Graduate Student Conference"
Center for Healthy Aging organizes three IARU conference in Elsinor and Copenhagen, 17-22 June 2014, and researchers from Humanistic Health Research Group representing theme group I at the Center for Healthy Aging host two of these conferences.
Please note that the conferences are only for invited participants .

The conference is primarily of interest for researchers in the humanities, and the social and behavioral sciences. The programme includes subthemes such as:

- Interventions and Aging
- Life Course Issues and Aging
- Aging in a National and International Perspective
Interdisciplinary Graduate student conference on “Aging Research and Scientific Careers” (IGC)
21-22 June 2014
The conference is targeted PhD students with research interests within the fields of aging and health. The programme includes subthemes such as:
- Theories of aging – How do we understand aging?
- Study of aging and behavior
- Health care services among the general population
- The physiology of health and aging – from cell to society
