Our achievements
Our research is based on the assumption that qualitative cultural-analytic knowledge and insights are essential not only for understanding health and illness but also for developing new and more appropriate health practices and institutions.
We explicitly work to develop teaching and dissemination programs and tools that can be used in practice, as listed below.
- Easy-to-read reports (e.g., coverage of a municipal service or a company’s product) (Volunteering for all senior citizens, Senior Practice)
- Idea catalogues with suggestions for new initiatives and improvements (Appetite for food)
- Tools and techniques (Senior Practice)
- Podcasts (Senior Practice, FATS)
- Exhibitions (FATS)
- Games (FATS)
- Books
- Scientific articles (see publications)
- Presentations at conferences and events
- Teaching programs (Competence Development)
- White papers and consensus statements (Copenhagen Consensus Statement 2019)
- Evaluations and follow-up research (Volunteering for all senior citizens)
- Mapping exercises
- Workshops (e.g., idea generation workshops with target group and stakeholders) (Senior Practice, SMUHL, CALM)
