Activities

As a collective, the researchers in the Copenhagen Centre for Health Research in the Humanities (CoRe) seek to contribute new understandings of health to the public debate, particularly with regard to how health practices, experiences and products are understood and integrated into people’s everyday lives throughout the life course.

The group’s activities address the social, cultural, economic, political, and/or historical processes that affect – and are affected by – how people experience health. Thus, the group’s research-based insights are intended to provide governments, organisations, and institutions as well as scholars and the general public with humanistic perspectives on health that can be applied in a range of sectors and disciplinary fields.

The researchers are part of a variety of professional networks, and in this capacity, they regularly participate in conferences and seminars in which they discuss state-of-the-art research on health and everyday life. See the links below for more information about group members’ past participation in conferences and seminars.
